Opening Up... *emotional*

I have been keeping this secret for quite sometime now. Not only have I been lying to my friends and family but more importantly myself. There was just something that struck a chord with me recently and I just had to share it with the world...

I was at the grocery store, you know, buying groceries when I saw that Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream was 50% off. What a miracle of a day it was. I was staring into the freezer looking for the perfect flavor. Then suddenly and without warning I saw a flavor that just outright made me CRINGE:

Cinnamon Buns....

just look at it sitting there with is cinnamon doughy bits and cinnamon swirl... disgusting

So if you know me, I have the WORST sweet-tooth in the world. If it has sugar in it, I'm there. I love it all. EXCEPT for Cinnamon Buns. I think cinnamon buns are the most disgusting dessert in the world. I am looking at pictures to put into this post right now and it is making me so sick. I don't know why this is happening please help.

There is just no good part of a cinnamon bun. It's drier than than my sense of humor and yet doughier than the Pillsbury Dough Boy himself. They have no flavor (even though you put a bunch of cinnamon in it..?) so you NEED the frosting to be able to eat the swirly piece of cardboard but the frosting is always so grainy and just so sweet and this is coming from someone who eats sugar cubes for fun.

And I know I am in the minority here okay. It's why I have been so afraid to ruin my brand of eating sugar all the time and offending like all of the human race. But I just couldn't take it anymore because now cinnamon buns are attacking the one thing I love in this world: Ice Cream.

And it's not like I haven't tried them. I used to have cinnamon buns on every holiday morning so they are surrounded with some of my purest memories. But whenever I look at them, with there swirly centers and icing glazed exteriors, I want to gag. I eaten a many c. bun in my days but I cannot say I ever was really happy eating one. SORRY.

WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE THESE MONSTROSITIES?

HOW IS THERE A MULTIBILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS AROUND THESE THINGS? CINNABON EXPLAIN.

DO YOU HAVE TO BE IN AN AIRPORT TO LIKE THEM?

DON'T RUIN THANKSGIVING LIKE THAT, COME ON KAREN!

HAVE I JUST HAD TERRIBLE CINNAMON BUNS MY ENTIRE LIFE ?

ARE ALL YOU PRETENDING TO LIKE THEM TO TRICK ME?

I AM ON TO YOU MARGARET...

I am just so confused...

And now you know my deep secret.... *whew* that felt good to get out there.

If you have a cinnamon bun recipe you want me to try that will hopefully change my outlook on the little swirly devils, comment it down below. I assure you, it won't happen. But I dare you to try. 💛🐝
